Before coming to Pitt, I graduated with a BA in Classics and History from the University of Washington in 2025. I wrote my senior essay on the relationship between poiesis and eros in Plato’s Symposium. Some of my research interests include: the Platonic dialogues and their poetics, Ancient Greek mysticism, Late Antique philosophy (particularly epistemology), and the reception of Neoplatonism in 20th century Christian apologetics. I also write poetry and occasionally try my hand at translating it.
