Event Summary
Hosted by the Humanities Center and Faculty Fellow Dr. Marcie Persyn. Respondents include Dr. Siobhán McElduff (UBC) and Dr. Lydia Spielberg (UCLA). This event will be hybrid, so you can attend it either in person in 602 CL or via Zoom, as you prefer.
The colloquium will focus on discussion of Dr. Persyn's paper, "Breaking Down the Joke: De-Fragmenting or Re-Fragmenting Early Roman Satire." The colloquium will be a formal paper reading on the history of Lucilius' earliest satires and how they were quoted.
